* Young physician / scientist: for individuals 35 years of age or younger and for those under 40 years of age upon proof of training status (copy of passport and written confirmation of head of department obligatory)

Fees for all congress participants include

  •     Welcome Ceremony & Welcome Reception
  •     Public transport within the city of Paris (not included for exhibitors, exhibition visitors and day tickets)

Note:

  • Meals are not included in your registration fee
  • Children under the age of 18 are not permitted in the congress areas
  • If you lose or forget your badge, a reprint fee of EUR 100 will be charged onsite
  • Registration fees are subject to 20% French VAT

Confirmation

Upon receipt of the correct registration fee, each participant will receive a confirmation of registration. Please bring this confirmation along with you to the congress. You will be able to print your personal name badge by scanning the barcode displayed on your registration confirmation at the self-print stations in the registration area.

Letter of Invitation

The registration department is happy to send a letter of invitation to any individual requesting one, once their registration and fee have been received. Such an invitation is intended to help potential participants raise travel funds or obtain a visa. It is not a commitment on the part of the congress to provide any financial support. You may request such a letter during the online registration.

To benefit from early registration fees, payment needs to be received by the respective deadline. In case your payment is not received in time, we will automatically change your registration to the higher fees.

 

A seperate invoice address can be added during the registration process. Changes of invoice addresses after completing the registration are possible via email to eccmidregistration[at]escmid.org and will be charged with EUR 30.00


Registration will only be valid upon receipt of the full payment by the registration department according to the deadline indicated. An email confirming registration will only be sent after receipt of the required fees. Outstanding payments will be collected on-site and charged the on-site rate. A copy of the bank transfer (or other proof of payment) will be required if registration fees were not credited to the Congress account on time.

Cancellation policy

All cancellations must be electronically mailed to .

Registration fees will be refunded as follows:

  • Cancellations received until 29 January 2020: Refund minus 25% handling fee
  • Cancellations received from 30 January until 4 March 2020: Refund minus 50% handling fee
  • No refund on cancellations as from 5 March 2020
  • For any name changes, a fee of EUR 50.00 will be charged

Manual Registration Processing Surcharge

Registrations received by fax, mail or email are subject to an administration surcharge of € 20. Therefore, we encourage you to use the online registration system that is safe, quick, easy and also gives you an immediate confirmation along with the invoice.

In order to register for the congress, please log in with your email address and your password if you already have a profile. If you do not have a profile, you can create a new one. 

After successful registration, an invoice or confirmation (depending on payment) will be sent immediately to your email address.

Scanning of your badge

Participants are not obliged to allow exhibitors to scan their badge in the exhibition area or when entering an industry symposia. Participants must show their badge for prove of access rights, but do not need to allow a company to scan it. With allowing a company to scan, you acknowledge that your registration details will be forwarded to the exhibitor.

Disclaimer

The participant acknowledges that he/she has no right to sue the organisers for damages should the congress not be held for unexpected political or economic reasons or because of "force majeure", or should the non-appearance of speakers or other events necessitate programme changes. With his/her registration, the participant accepts this proviso.
