After the success of the ePoster Flash Sessions at ECCMID 2023, the number of these sessions in the Scientific Programme for ECCMID 2024 will be significantly increased, with up to four ePoster Flash Sessions in parallel in the Arenas, giving even more delegates the possibility to present their work in Barcelona.

During these sessions, speakers will present posters submitted for ECCMID 2024 projected on the screens in the Arenas. These short presentations are meant to encourage discussion and networking among speakers and the audience. The sessions will be recorded, but not live-streamed. Recordings will be available in the replay section within four hours.

The well-known Educational Workshops at ECCMID will be rebranded in 2024.

They will be called Educational Sessions and feature four 20-minute presentations, followed by 40 minutes of panel discussion.

They should contain review talks and/or case studies that lend themselves to discussions. This format aims to educate while focusing on core topics in CM and ID. Individual talks should be complementary and cohesive within the session. Educational Sessions can also involve case discussions and be interactive (e.g. via polling).
